Every month Orin's teacher has the students submit a short story or article for their "Cool Class News" paper. She types them up and sends the newspaper home at the end of the month. Orin's article in this month's paper was the shortest so far this year, but more meaningful.

The main reason of Christmas is that Jesus was born. Every Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus. It's also about giving people presents. You get to see all your family members. I just love Christmas.

Short and sweet and to the point. He told me he thought about it and wanted to make sure people know Christmas is about Jesus since they're really not allowed to sing about Him in programs and what not at school. Christmas is about presents, too, but Jesus is much more important, so he put Him first. (How thoughtful.)
And to think... When I first opened the Cool Class News and saw how short O's article was I thought he just didn't feel like doing his homework.
